About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies nolana.com uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It is the cookie notice referred to in our Privacy Statement, which describes how we handle personal data more generally.
The website is operated by Nolana Limited, Lloyd's Lab, Lloyd's of London, One Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA, United Kingdom ("Nolana", "we", "us"). Nolana is the data controller for any personal data collected through cookies on this website.
This policy applies to nolana.com and its subpages. It does not cover the Nolana platform used by our insurance customers, which is governed by the agreements we have with them.
What cookies are
The cookies we use
Below is every cookie and similar technology currently in use on nolana.com. We keep it up to date as the site changes.
_ga (Google Analytics, analytics). Distinguishes one visitor from another with a random ID so we can count visits and see which pages are used. Expires after 2 years.
_ga_6CBLPDHJ72 (Google Analytics, analytics). Keeps the state of your current browsing session for our Google Analytics property. Expires after 2 years.
Framer Analytics (Framer, our website platform, strictly necessary). Records anonymous page views and site performance for the platform that hosts the site. It does not set a cookie, does not identify you, and stores nothing on your device.
Strictly necessary items run without consent because the site cannot operate or be hosted without them. They do not identify you.
Analytics cookies are set only after you click "Accept" on our cookie banner. If you click "Reject" or make no choice, they are not set. Google Analytics data is collected with IP anonymisation and we have not enabled Google Signals or advertising features.
We do not use advertising, retargeting, social media or visitor-identification cookies on this website. The "Book a Demo" button takes you to Calendly, and the LinkedIn link takes you to LinkedIn; both are separate sites with their own cookie policies.
Third parties and international transfers
Two providers process data collected by cookies on our behalf:
• Google Ireland Limited (Google Analytics). Analytics data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the UK Extension, and we rely on that certification together with Google's standard contractual clauses. See How Google uses information from sites that use its services.
• Framer B.V. (website hosting and platform analytics), based in the Netherlands. Framer's own analytics is cookieless and does not identify individual visitors. See Framer's privacy policy.
We do not sell data collected through cookies and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
How we manage your cookies
Cookie banner. When you first visit nolana.com you will see a banner with the options Accept all, Reject all and Cookie settings. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose Accept all or switch them on in Cookie settings. We record your choice so we do not ask again for 12 months.
Change your mind at any time. Click "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page to review or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent stops new analytics cookies being set and deletes the ones we control; it does not affect processing that already took place.
Browser controls. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Instructions for the main browsers: Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
Google Analytics opt-out. You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on any website by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Changes and contact
We will update this policy when we add, remove or change cookies on the site, and will show the new effective date at the top. If a change means we need your consent again, the banner will reappear.
Questions about cookies or this policy can be sent to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@nolana.ai, or by post to Nolana Limited, Lloyd's Lab, Lloyd's of London, One Lime Street, London EC3M 7HA. Your rights over your personal data, including how to complain to the ICO or an EU supervisory authority, are set out in our Privacy Statement.
